Andrew Bird, MICE

(Principal Civil Engineer)

Andrew heads up our civil team and joined vkhp in March 2020, with past experience having worked on a variety of projects from individual residential projects to large residential estates.

He also has considerable experience working on commercial projects including industrial and high-rise buildings both in London and the home counties.

Andrew has experience dealing with statutory authorities both water (S104, S185 and S106 applications) and highways authorities (S278, S38 and S50 applications) and has a good rapport with their representatives.

He has also worked on pre-planning enquires to provide flood risk information and drainage strategy plans, working closely with the LFA to gain scheme approvals.

Away from work, Andrew has an interest in bee keeping and classic cars.
