vkhp-consulting were appointed by the Borde Hill Estate to act as Structural Engineers in the refurbishment of a Listed farmhouse, which included a new glazed single storey modern extension into a sunken garden, along with the conversion/refurbishment of outbuildings. 

 

Careful consideration was given to any repairs to the Listed building to ensure these met the required Conservation requirements. 

 

vkhp also designed a comprehensive drainage system, complicated by the fact the property was on heavy clay soil.
