Having graduated from Salford University with an Aeronautical Degree, Fritz's career path soon took him into building engineering and has now over twenty two years post graduate engineering experience.
Initially commencing his career as a structural investigation engineer and project leader, he very quickly progressed to a senior structural testing and investigation engineer, which he undertook for almost eight years. However, his focus was to become a structural design engineer and this ocurred along with his relocation down to East Sussex from Bedfordshire.
He progressed and developed his career on the south coast, following which he sought employment within a large London consultancy firm as a structural project engineer and had the opportunity to work on a broad range of projects.
Prior to joining vkhp consulting and the Tunbridge Wells office, Fritz spent the last six years successfuly running a civil and structural consultancy office, which he grew from the initial two engineers to nine members of staff, developing strong working relationships, increasing the variety and size of projects, etc.
Outside of office work, Fritz enjoys spending time with his young family, the gym, mountain biking, cars, general outdoor activities and travel
