Andrea has more than 8 years of experience in structural design on projects ranging from small house alterations through to large bespoke Architectural designed residential, commercial and educational buildings and basement extensions in Central London.

 

She can design in all major materials including steel frames, reinforced concrete frames, timber, masonry and temporary works.

 

She has extensive site experience including site inspections to ensure adherence to structural design, provision of remedial works, inspection and surveying of multi-storey car parks, structural testing of concrete and assistance during contracts as Site Engineer. She also has provided assistance during both design and construction phases of recladding projects for apartment blocks around London, including wind analyses, load assessment reports, examination of original structural calculations and solving miscellaneous issues discovered on site.

 

She has recently completed her MSc in Structural Engineering through the University of Surrey and is working on her IStructE Chartership at the moment.

 

Outside of office work, Andrea loves travelling, walking along the seafront and doing all sorts of crafts.
