No.55 and 57 Pont Street were originally two six storey Victorian red brick houses.

Our involvement has been to convert these into five lateral apartments arranged over seven levels.

​

We have increased the depth of the existing basement and added an additional storey below ground to serve as car parking and plant space for the new development.

​

This basement occupies the full extent of the site with new gardens and entertainment rooms built over the top.

Situated in Knightsbridge these properties are within easy walking distance from Harrods and Sloane Street.

With a five storey high retained façade and sensitive neighbours we worked closely with Geotechnical Engineers and the contractor, Galliford Try, to establish the most economical construction method, whilst at the same time ensuring there was no damage to adjoining properties.
